How Valet Trash Works
The full sequence, from the property manager’s side — and what happens when something goes wrong.
The full sequence, from the manager’s side
This is exactly what happens on a service night — and what happens when something goes wrong.
Residents set out
Properly sealed household trash placed outside the door during the property’s set-out window.
We collect
Our crew walks the route during the agreed collection window and takes accepted waste only.
To your dumpster
Waste is moved to your property’s existing onsite dumpster or compactor — never offsite.
You get the record
Exceptions and access issues are documented and reported to management.
On a service night
- Set-out window. Residents place sealed household trash outside their door. The property approves the window and the location.
- Collection window. PPWS collects during the agreed window — 10 PM to 2 AM under our standard model.
- Accepted waste only. Properly bagged, leak-free household trash that one worker can safely handle.
- To onsite disposal. Waste goes to your existing dumpster or compactor. We do not haul offsite.
- Exceptions documented. Blocked access, unsafe or prohibited items, and overflows get recorded and reported.
What the property receives
- Nightly photo confirmation on request. We will document route completion — described honestly, not dressed up as software we do not have.
- A weekly written summary. Route issues, recurring resident noncompliance, access problems.
- Escalation path. A named contact, a logged issue, and a response commitment.
- A first-week quality review. We walk the property with you after launch and fix what needs fixing.
Exceptions and prohibited waste
Safety rules exist for a reason. Here is how they are handled in practice.
Noncompliant set-out
Waste that is unbagged, leaking, oversized or set out late may be left in place and reported to management rather than collected.
Unsafe items
Our crew will not reach blindly into torn bags and will not handle sharps, needles or suspected biohazard material.
Access failure
If a gate, building or dumpster is inaccessible we follow the approved contact path, document the time and area, and never defeat locks.
