Resident information

Everything you need to know about trash service at your community. Your property manager has approved these rules — following them keeps the service working for everyone.

How to set out your trash

  • Put trash in securely tied, leak-free bags
  • Place it outside your door in the approved location
  • Set it out during the designated set-out window
  • Keep it a size and weight one person can carry safely

Collection window: 10 PM – 2 AM under our standard model. Your property will confirm the exact nights and window.

Please do not set out

  • Sharps, needles or exposed glass
  • Medical or biohazardous waste
  • Hazardous chemicals, pesticides or corrosives
  • Hot ashes, hot charcoal, flammables or explosives
  • Automotive fluids, oil, fuel or batteries
  • Loose liquids or leaking bags
  • Furniture, mattresses or appliances
  • Unbagged household trash
Why these rules exist. Our collectors handle your trash by hand. Sharps, leaking bags and hazardous materials put a real person at risk. Items that cannot be safely handled will be left in place and reported to property management rather than collected.

If your trash was missed

It happens occasionally — a blocked doorway, a gate that would not open, or bad weather. Here is what to do.

  1. Check it was eligible. Bags must be sealed, correctly located, and set out during the window. Waste set out late or left unbagged cannot be collected.
  2. Report it. Contact your property management office, or email support@ppwsolution.com.
  3. Include details. Building, unit and the date it was missed — that is enough for us to check the route record.
  4. We will follow up. If PPWS is responsible, we complete recovery as soon as it is operationally reasonable.
